  • Microsoft Agent 365: The company unveiled Microsoft Agent 365, an administrative control plane. This is an extension of the existing infrastructure for managing users, designed to help IT leaders govern, secure, and manage AI agents responsibly and at scale across the organization.

  • New Specialized Agents: Several new agents were announced to automate specific tasks, including the Sales Development Agent (in preview), Workforce Insights, People, and Learning Agents, as well as administrative agents like the Teams Admin Agent and SharePoint Admin Agent.

Feature and Product Enhancements

  • Creation Capabilities: Microsoft 365 Copilot is being enhanced with the ability to integrate Sora 2 video generation into its "Create" experience.

  • Copilot Chat Updates: Updates were rolled out for Copilot Chat, including an "agent mode" in Office apps and content-aware capabilities in Outlook for unlicensed users.

  • Security Posture: A new Security Dashboard for AI (Preview) was introduced to help CISOs understand their AI posture. It aggregates security signals and provides AI-powered recommendations through Security Copilot.

  • Edge Integration: Edge for Business is gaining new Copilot features, including Copilot agent mode, multi-tab reasoning, and the ability to summarize YouTube content directly.

It’s like my personal backstage pass – the place where all the nerdy stuff lives. Whenever I need to peek at the environment or confirm what version I’m working with, that’s where I head first. Now, today we’re not going to dive into every single detail (though trust me, there’s plenty in there). Instead, let’s keep it simple and focus on version information.
